Adventure seekers who don’t mind the cold will fall in love with Southland. There is so much untouched beauty here, fiords to explore and nature to get up close to. In Southland, you will find the famous Milford Sound and Mitre Peak, but explore a little more and discover the beauty of Doubtful Sound, Stuart Island and The Catlins. All of these areas require a bit of effort to get to, but make that effort and you will be rewarded. This gem at the bottom of Te Waipounamu is waiting for you.
